Process Manager for Payments


Into the GPS (Group Payments Solutions) department we are searching for colleague with experience in process management and project management. You will become a part of the Payments department (reporting directly to the Department head). You will be regularly communicating with process managers across the KBC Group dealing with processing and investigation of International and SEPA payments and with the application management of banking systems.

Your responsibilities
  • responsible for design and operation of the specific Payment´s processes
  • supporting the colleagues in the area of the process expertise
  • searching for efficiencies in the process, having the continuous improvement mindset, to be able to balance cost/benefit ratio of the processes
  • bringing efficiency proposals and be able to defend their meaningfulness
  • leading (acting as Single point of contact) for minor projects in Payments or internal domain projects
  • responsible for process documentation (Process maps, flows, SOPs – Standards of Operations, etc.)
  • need to learn fast new processes or being able to even build them
We expect

  • University education
  • MS Office advanced (Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio ...)
  • fluent in English
  • fast learner, self-learner
  • process management, Presentation, Communication and analytical skills
  • conveys a message with clarity and adapts his/her communication style to suit the negotiating partner (being ICT or Business)
  • experience with leading smaller projects or at least be part of the project team
  • strong personal drive - proactive approach to work, creativity, out of the box thinking
  • organizational skills, knows how to prioritize and can handle changing priorities
  • willingness to occasionally travel abroad
  • interest in RPA, IPA, AI
  • Advantage: knowledge of the SEPA and/or International payments (SWIFT, ISO20022)
  • SQL and DB2 database system
  • experience with application management
  • experience with IBM Personal communications, PEGA systems Smart Investigate, JIRA
