Financial Markets analyst

Description

You will be part of the Middle Office Financial Markets team which acts like a controlling subject for Front Office and Back Office. Here you will care about accounts and accounting itself, help Middle Office clients and protect the bank against any financial losses. To accomplish this task you will:

Your responsibilities
  • check accounts of foreign exchange money markets and capital markets (e.g. account balances, their usage and other „ad hoc“ checks)
  • follow of open items on the accounts and solve discrepancies
  • analyze differences between accounting systems
  • preparation of reports about accounting discrepancies and differences for management or other departments
  • communicate across KBC Group
  • update procedures and internal process documents
We expect

  • ideally university degree, but most important for us is the desire for active involvement in work
  • we need English at a good level, both spoken and written
  • important is to be stress resistant and meet deadlines
  • you need to be a team player
  • as you will work with other departments, you shouldn’t be afraid of communication
  • a lot of work is within MS Office (Outlook, Excel,....)
  • an advantage is if you are familiar with financial markets products, but we can also teach you 
